I'm one of those temper-mental artists.  I can be marvelously creative...except when I'm upset about something.  On those days I don't even attempt to pick up a crayon.  Why?  Because I truly feel our state of mind mirrors in our work.

What a vast amount of parenting knowledge we have in this world at present.  With the assistance of our great internet and experts all over the planet -- as well as blogs galore, there surely could not be a subject on child rearing that doesn't expand our outlook and increase our skills as parents and soon to be parents. 

Truth be told...I think that if I had this abundance in wisdom 27 years ago, I may never have started motherhood.  With all the do's and don'ts, I fear I may have been far too overwhelmed to feel the least bit capable to start such a venture.  My mom's, mother-in-law and grandmother's advice were enough for me to sift through.  My gracious curtsies to you young mommies out there today -- each doing the best you can.

Kiwi Industries - Crocodile and Lizard Tees

A crocodile stands out ready to snap it's ferocious jaws, and our attention with merry hues of red and yellow. Set upon a cream background of 100% organic cotton fabric.  These are well made in a medium weight fabric - durable enough to handle several washings.  I recently discovered my son wearing these as an undershirt, as he preferred its gentle texture to his plain ones.

The grinning lizard has a cordial manner about him despite his spiky armed back.  His gregarious green character is tamed by a deep brown edging.  The simple nature about these shirts sets well with me.  Will be ordering more for summer.  I have found the sizing to be a tad on the small end, (especially after washing) so you may want to order one size bigger to fit your boy.

Kidz by Kidz --Neptune and Crab T-Shirts

I love a t-shirt that is teachable.  You may know that Neptune is the eighth planet in our solar system, but did you know that it has 13 moons and is mostly made from gases?  Well, we do...now.  When little boys ask questions, they want answers.  It's a delight to explore with them and discover facts together. This shirt gives such opportunity.

And while we're on the subject of learning, let's talk about crabs -- or "decapod crustaceans".  Next time you're at the beach with your family, fill them with some fun-filled crab facts:
